[ COEXISTENCE ]
Overlapped experiences and memories, despite of our different and limited lifetime, have made humans progress in history.
In near-sighted life, a tree, which had been always there, is now re-discovered in front of eyes. The tree was just like a timeline of our century, and by looking at newly growing mosses along with dying mosses, and sprouting bud of a different type of trees, it just seemed like our life.
We’ve learned that overlapped and coexisting time is shorter than each being’s lifetime, and that we cannot decide on the matters of time.
By “the discovery of coexistence,” we find another reason that the life is beautiful.

We all are graduates of Visual communication design at Kookmin graduate school of design.
Overall theme is “Visual Expansion” and my personal theme is “Coexistence(공존)”.

공존 ( Coexistence )
시대와 삶의 길이가 달라도 서로가 공존하며 중첩되는 경험과 기록으로 우리는 조금씩 앞으로 나아가고 있다.
앞만 보이던 삶에 늘 그 자리에 있었던 나무가 보이기 시작했다.
그 나무는 마치 우리의 한 세기의 타임 라인 같았고, 그 표면에 새롭게 피어나는 또 다른 이끼와 죽어가는 이끼 그리고 다른 종자의 나무가 싹을 피워 자라는 모습도 우리의 삶처럼 보였다.
중첩되며 공존하는 시간은 각각 삶의 길이보다 짧으며, 그 공존의 대상과 환경 그리고 시간은 우리 스스로 정할 수 없다는 것을 알게 되었다.
이 ‘공존의 발견’으로 삶이 아름다운 여러 이유 중 또 하나를 알아 간다.
